The Dinner that Changed my Life

I am learning to inform my audience by sharing an entertaining moment

Ding! The elevator shut behind us. We were going to a buffet at the sky tower. (Chof) why was it so hot in here oh I forgot my entire family was piled in the small elevator with me. I stopped breathing to hear what was going on, all I hear was the deep breathing of my family. The elevator voice announced, “You have reached your level.” Finally fresh air I could breathe again.

I could smell the 10/10 food, Yum. The nice waiter took us to our table. Before I sat down everyone was gone. So I went to get my food. Chips, pizza, sushi filled the long tables, this was the exact moment I thought I was in heaven. Pulling my seat out I placed my plate down next to what looked like about half a litre glass filled with coca-cola.

Dinner was scrumpsulishious, licking my lips, tasting all the yummy selection. But I by this point I had had about three glasses of coca-cola, washing down my meal. Then across the room I saw the dessert stand, capturing my eye. I started to eat quicker, in a hurry to finish my dinner. Jumping up out of my seat I rushed over to the dessert. I got my bowl and got everything. When I got to my seat I was happy as a boy can be. I went there and back three times. How could I say no to free dessert.

All of a sudden my tummy didn’t feel so good. I try to walk to the bathroom because I knew I was going to vomit. Ouch! My stomach couldn’t take it anymore, I hunched over, SPLASH! A huge puddle of vomit was standing in front of me. “Oh my goodness,” I heard everyone say. Saying lots and lots of things about me. At that moment I even heard my grandma say, “A horrible boy just vomited.” My mum interrupting, “That would be your grandson.”

That was the dinner that changed my life from pure embarrassment.
